Passes can be purchased at the gate when entering and can also be purchased online. If purchasing online, you will be provided a bar code that can then be printed or redeemed with a mobile device. Passes will be scanned at the gate upon entering which will redeem one admission. Anyone leaving the fairgrounds and planning to return the same day can get a hand stamp which will allow them to return the same day.
Will be in the form of a ticket and will be good for one admission.
Will be in the form of a credential card (like a credit card) and will include seven admissions. These cards will be scanned when entering the gate and will redeem an admission each time it is scanned. More than one admission can be redeemed at a time but once all seven admissions have been redeemed that card will be invalid.
Will be provided a credential card (like a credit card) that will provide seven admissions.
The three main gate entrances will remain in the same location as they have been in recent past years.
The main “drive” entrance entering the fairgrounds will no longer be used to collect admission. Instead, vehicles will just pass through and go directly to the parking lot. There will be no charges for parking.
This will become the new location for collecting admission. This is still the same “walk-in” entrance location as in the past (at the east end of “Food Alley”). There will be another ticket cabin placed at this entrance where admission passes can be purchased, and passes will be scanned upon walking through the gate.
AKA “Campground Gate”. This gate will continue to be used as an entrance to the Campground only. As in the past Campers will still receive two hangtags that will allow them to utilize this gate. Anyone riding in the vehicle will have their individual pass scanned for entrance. If someone riding in the vehicle needs to purchase a pass for gate admission, they will be able to do so at this gate also.
Judges, Purdue Extention Staff, Exhibit building staff, and Media please use the West Gate and park on the paved lot next to the community building.
Handicap parking will take place along the fence of the drive. Parking will be clearly marked and located near the main entrance. A Courtesy Shuttle will be running during fair week to help you get from your car to the gate if needed or anywhere else on the property. Call the fair office for more information.
