FRIDAY JULY 17th

LaGrange County 4-H Fair

Presents...

No matter who you are or where you’ve come from, finding solace and comfort in music is a prerequisite rite of passage for countless teenagers.  However, for singer-songwriter Leanna Crawford, playing guitar and writing poetry in the bedroom of her family’s home in Washington State, was never merely a leisurely pastime or a source of creative escapism. On the contrary, songwriting was her artistic vehicle to navigate her faith, relationships, and questions in a world of insecurities and

difficulties.

No longer just another teen playing guitar and writing poetry in the bedroom of her family’s home in Washington State, Leanna now finds herself, a happily married woman in her twenties, on the verge of the release of her major record label debut album, Still Waters.

Combining previously released tracks with fresh compositions like "For Heaven’s Sake," "Honest," and "Rest," the album is a tapestry of struggle and faith, reflecting Crawford's journey and pursuit for truth, honesty, and beauty.

Each song on Still Waters feels like a journal entry—infused with Crawford’s personal reflections and experiences. "For Heaven’s Sake" invites listeners to unite in purpose regardless of differences. "How Can You Not" is a melodic affirmation of God’s omnipresence, even amidst doubt. The title track, "Still Waters" holds special meaning as a tribute to Crawford’s Great Aunt Maurine whose steadfast faith profoundly impacted her family across generations.

“My prayer is that this album becomes a vessel of hope and grace,” says Crawford. “I want listeners to feel seen, understood, and hopeful through these songs – and as a result, encounter the transformative love of Jesus.”

With Special Guest: Madison Watkins

Madison Watkins is a powerhouse vocalist and soul-pop artist whose radiant confidence comes from deep personal growth and rediscovered faith. Hailing from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and now based in Nashville, Watkins’ path has taken her through personal struggles, industry setbacks, and a transformative season of healing. After briefly stepping away from music, she returned with renewed clarity, openly embracing her faith for the first time and landing a deal with Sony Music/Provident Entertainment. Her vocal gifts—honed without formal training—have earned her acclaim since childhood and a top-12 spot on American Idol.

Her debut EP, Letting Go, is a vibrant blend of gospel-rooted soul and R&B-influenced pop, reflecting the highs and lows of her journey. From the empowering anthem “Goodbye” to the vulnerable piano ballad “You Won’t,” the project showcases Watkins’ full vocal range and emotional depth. Now poised to release her debut album, she’s focused on creating music with purpose—designed to uplift and inspire. “I want to help people be more confident in who they really are,” she says. “With every single person who listens to my music, I want their soul to be impacted.”
